GASP and the American Lung Association in Alabama are launching a new campaign, Voices for Clean Air, to bring awareness to the health effects of breathing polluted air. The project will tell the real stories of how air pollution affects health and quality of life through videos, photos and essays. Voices for Clean Air will launch Wednesday, May 7, 2014, with a multimedia website and social media ad campaign.
We invite anyone who has been affected by air pollution to share their experience. Whether you suffer from asthma or a loved one has died from cancer — dirty air affects all of our lives. Through this visual storytelling project, your story will inspire our state’s leaders to take action to improve the unhealthy state of our air.
