GASP Named a Finalist for BBJ Nonprofit Awards

by | Jun 12, 2015

GASP is honored to be named a finalist for the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2015 Nonprofit Awards! We’re in the running in the “Under $350k (revenue)” category with two outstanding organizations: TechBirmingham and KultureCity. We asked our executive director to tell her what this honor means to her:

“We’re proud to be honored in this way by the Birmingham Business Journal. We are a young organization, privileged to be working on an issue that needs critical attention. Despite progress over the years, Birmingham still has some of the dirtiest air in the nation. We believe every one of us deserves clean, healthy air to breathe.

“For me, it is particularly gratifying to pursue a mission that will lead to a healthier, more prosperous community.”

We couldn’t do what we do without each and everyone of you who support our mission for clean, healthy air. Stay tuned to find out how we fare when the awards are given on June 25. In the meantime, you can help us celebrate by making a donation to GASP in honor of our mission.
