GASP was born out of a clean air movement in Birmingham in the 1970s. Today, we aim to reduce air pollution, educate the public about the health risks of poor air quality, and encourage community leaders to serve as role models for clean air and clean energy.
We invest in what we value, and we believe healthy air should be a top priority. Your donation allows GASP to challenge the status quo in Alabama and advocate for better public policies to improve the health of our people and of our economy.
Are you interested getting involved? Don’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves now and join the fight for clean air! We have plenty of great advocacy opportunities — from research to writing to speaking. We can’t do what we do without you.
